Adam Tice is the Senior Vice President of Cybersecurity at Equifax, where he leads the global team tasked with protecting the enterprise from cybersecurity threats. He joined Equifax in 2017 immediately after the organization’s infamous data breach, and was hired from Mandiant, the company that led Equifax’s incident response and intrusion investigation. From 2014-2017, Tice managed a team of Mandiant consultants who were responsible for providing a range of industry-leading, technical cybersecurity services to clients in more than 30 countries.
Prior to Mandiant, Tice spent nearly a decade serving in a variety of leadership positions at Lockheed Martin. Most recently, he was the Principal Consultant and Service owner for Cybersecurity Testing, Assessment, and Training, and managed teams of consultants who performed these activities for high-profile domestic and international clients. Tice also has a passion for cultivating the next generation of cybersecurity talent. At Lockheed Martin, he was heavily responsible for the development of the organization’s cyber workforce through talent identification, custom training, hiring, and classroom instruction for both internal and external clients. He also co-created and led the Content Development & Instruction Team of the EXCITE Program, a cyber analyst development concept designed to identify rising talent while introducing advanced competencies and ultimately, to place junior cyber analysts on key projects. The EXCITE Program is still overwhelming successful today.
Tice resides in Atlanta, Georgia and holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Information Systems Management from Bob Jones University. He is also a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), ArcSight ESM Security Analyst (AESA), Red Hat Certified Technician (RHCT) and certified in GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM), and the NSA INFOSEC Assessment Methodology (NSA IAM).
